What is included in the onboarding?

Onboarding is included for all Zeticon's Software-as-a-Service plans. It includes a training course and an intensive metadata workshop.

Is the DAM solution cloud based?

Zeticon's solution can be implemented in the cloud or on premise. You can find more information in our different subscription models.

Can the assets be made publicly available?

Within our platform, there is a complete security model that allows you to decide which assets can be seen, edited, deleted or stored by whom.

Do I always have to add them manually or can I also upload several photos in one go?

There are various possibilities of charging in our DAM:

  • manual: file or photograph is in a specific location and can be loaded as a separate item
  • semi-automatic: file or photograph can be uploaded in bulk
  • automatic: file or photograph can be uploaded via API
What types of files can be uploaded?

All kinds of files such as multimedia (image, video, audio ...), digital scans, digitised pdf files, office documents ... can be stored with the corresponding metadata.

Can we set fixed retention periods for a document/media file?

This can be set when metadataing a media file. The rules for this depend on the client. Classifications can be used.

Can you provide an overlay or logo when downloading?

For export locations, this is a parameter and you can opt for a watermark.

I already have a website. Can I use my own website to access images?

Yes, this is certainly possible. Thanks to the Open Rest API, we can integrate seamlessly with any platform.

Can the Digital Asset Management be integrated with most content management systems?

Zeticon's solution is built on an API-First philosophy. This means that every functionality present in the DAM solution can be accessed from the required content management systems. This is not limited to the search and filter functionality. Because of this, our solution can be seen as a sustainable hub in which not only assets and their associated metadata can be uploaded from other (production systems), but which can also be opened up to platforms such as Web CMS, portals, e-commerce platforms, and so on.

Can external partners also upload images to the DAM/MAM solution?

Yes, this can be done via the import module.

This is a web application that allows (external) people to upload images via a structured workflow, and even to enforce certain basic metadata if desired. These images can then enter a "waiting room", where a quality check and/or internal approval must first take place before they are definitively stored in the image bank for further use and/or publication.

Is version control available to avoid overwriting files?

When uploading images, several technical actions are performed during the processing phase. These include checking for duplicates. Our solution does not allow duplicates. Preview and preservation derivatives are created and the original is safely written away and preserved.

Each new uploaded version includes a unique ID. This avoids unnecessary waste of storage space on the one hand, but also ensures that everyone in an organisation works with exactly the same file, thus avoiding confusion.

When uploading a PDF document, can a cover photo also be uploaded? Or does the DAM solution automatically create a cover photo of a PDF?

Our solution creates cover photos itself.

If someone takes a picture with their mobile phone and the location and other info is saved, is it automatically copied into your solution?

Correct, metadata that is already in the image before loading (e.g. location, resolution, orientation, etc.) is automatically extracted from the image during the processing process and entered into the correct metadata field in our solution.

Can I set roles and permissions myself?

Our solution has a comprehensive security model based on roles and groups, where access to assets such as images and/or documents can be regularised.

Is it possible to add multi-language tagging?

Our solution has built-in thesaurus functionality. A thesaurus is a hierarchical structure where translations and synonyms can be indicated for each label or concept included in the structure. The thesaurus can be used for / when describing different objects.
