Helmond municipality chooses Zeticon's digital archive platform
It is with great enthusiasm that we announce that the Municipality of Helmond has chosen Zeticon as partner for their e-depot solution. This will serve for the sustainable storage and management of all their digital information, and this in accordance with laws and regulations until the moment of destruction or transfer to the Regional Historic Centre Eindhoven.

About the Municipality of Helmond
Helmond has developed energetically in recent years. Indeed, Helmond municipality has become an important centre in the urban region of Southeast Brabant and is part of Brainport, one of the three most important economic regions in the Netherlands. With more than 90,000 inhabitants, Helmond is one of the largest cities in Brabant and the second largest city in Brainport. For several years, the municipality has been known as a creative and innovative force fully committed to social and technological innovations. Several steps have already been taken towards a smarter, more sustainable and more social Helmond. Indeed, the digitalisation of our society offers various 'digital' opportunities, and these are being grasped with both hands by the Municipality of Helmond.
Challenges
The increasing degree of storage and management of digital information presents several challenges for Helmond municipality. To store, manage and make the digital information accessible in a sustainable way, the municipality went in search of a flexible digital archive platform. The aim is to improve their services and business operations, and in this to comply with the DUTO (sustainable accessible government information) standards framework. To simplify the municipality's information landscape, they are looking for a worthy partner who thinks constructively and proactively with them.
They also wish to tackle this in phases. In the first phase, for instance, they intend to implement a digital archive platform and open it up for internal access. In addition, data migration from existing Case systems such as Verseon and Djuma must of course also be provided. Only in the second phase will the focus be on providing external access via a portal and also integrations to various other applications.
Project partnership as starting point
Zeticon is still in the early stages for this project, but looks forward to working with Helmond municipality to provide a future-proof digital archive repository to sustainably safeguard the municipality's digital information. The vision around a phased approach envisaged by Helmond fits perfectly with Zeticon's fast, effective and proven no-nonsense project approach.
