Zeticon is a young and dynamic company that builds software solutions for managing, storing and accessing digital information. Zeticon is currently developing a software platform on which three applications have been realised today:
- MediaHaven: platform dedicated to archiving, managing, preserving and accessing media (video, photo, audio).
- DigiHaven: platform dedicated to archiving, managing, preserving and accessing files and documents.
- Digital signature platform: the evolution towards remote and hybrid working creates a growing need for digitally signed documents that can be legally equivalent to a wet signature. Zeticon builds a signature platform where signed contracts are stored on the platform for a long time and securely.
And because it's all just a little more impressive in numbers, in 2021 more than 1,834,829 objects were loaded into our platform with a total file size of 3449 Terabytes (TB)!
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be part of our Services Team and, together with your teammates, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our software and the underlying infrastructure.
Thanks to your substantive knowledge of our software solutions, you will help customers by providing functional support for specific software-related questions. If necessary, you know how to escalate problems or incidents correctly to your manager who, together with the team of developers, analyses the problem further. You provide the necessary input and specifications of the problem. After analysing and working out a solution, you communicate this back to the customer(s) concerned.
If you join our team, you will have the opportunity to have a direct impact on the further growth of the company. You will work from our offices in Ghent.

What are your responsibilities?
- You are responsible for the qualitative maintenance, installation and monitoring of the infrastructure on which our solution is hosted (Azure, AWS, on-premise, etc.)
- You provide 1st and mainly 2nd line support to our customers, both by phone and via our service desk. For this, a turn-around is agreed with the other team members
- You efficiently analyse both simple and complex problems from start to finish
- You solve problems relating to in-house applications and provide support for roll-out and improvement projects in various domains (network, telephony, workstations, security, software)
- At the customer's request, you make changes to its configuration
- You work proactively to permanently improve the support team
Your profile
- You have a passion for IT and technology
- You have a smooth talk and are customer-oriented
- You are able to set the right priorities and stay calm in busy periods or stressful situations
- You are fluent in Dutch, but can also speak English and French
- You have a hands-on mentality
- You can work in a team as well as independently
- Knowledge of Python, SQL, Ansible, Linux, Apache is a plus, as well as experience with Azure and/or AWS
- You are eager to learn and do not shy away from a challenge
