- Not sure which object type to choose?
- Media: Select this type if you want to archive individual items. We use it ourselves to archive things like emails, team building photos, our company logo, or marketing materials.
- Series: Choose this option if you want to utilize the legal archiving functionality. The series determines the rules for the dossiers it contains.
- Dossier: A dossier holds the metadata for a collection of documents. For example, it could be used to archive a building permit.
- Document: You can upload documents within a dossier. These documents will always be linked to one another.
- Media: Select this type if you want to archive individual items. We use it ourselves to archive things like emails, team building photos, our company logo, or marketing materials.
- Customize platform language
You can customize the language of your InformationHaven platform. The landing page is always displayed in the default language of the browser being used. Once the user is logged in, the application's interface is displayed in the language set for the user through the settings or user profile. Metadata fields and filters are also displayed in the language of the logged-in user.
- Permissions and Roles
For the free trial we have set up basic roles and permissions. Our platform has an extensive security model based on roles and groups where access to assets such as images and/or documents can be regularised. With our paid version you can make use of our advanced rights management capabilities. Decide who can see, edit and/or download which assets and which users can perform which actions or functions and keep full control over your user rights.
